I hope you are well.

I am part of the local organizing team for Robocup Brasil 2024 [1].

I would like to ask you if you know of any alternative supplier for the Humanoid SPL ball, as the source URL (sportspaint.de) given in the most recent guidelines [2] I have on hand, shows up as nonexistent.

As a plan B, I would also like to know if any Humanoid SPL team has an extra ball or two that they would be willing to sell and send via express delivery.

unfortunately, you ended up in the RoboCup humanoid league forum, not the SPL forum. Your league’s forum can be found here [1], though it does not look very active. Alternatively, you can find more ways to contact your league here [2].

To answer your question, though, in the most recent SPL rulebook, the website mentioned is sportpaint. de, not sportspaint. de, hope that helps. If you need more guidance on this, it is probably best to get in touch with your league chairs, as I only know the basics of your league. Up to date rulebook can be found at [3].

With your information, I was able to contact sportpaint.de and will order from them, hoping that the balls will arrive in time for the Robocup (Brasil) Humanoid SPL competition at Robótica 2024, while having a backup plan in the form of loaned balls from one of the competing teams.

May your teams enjoy exciting matches, revealing new paths in development and research.
