Proposition:
Follow the following steps:
- Make natural lighting mandatory in the rules
- Move to covered outdoor fields
- Mandatory starting at a given size (ex: 21m by 14 m)
- Move to uncovered outdoor fields
Context:
With the current status of the roadmap, the size of the fields grows regularly, pushing further the constraints on fast bipedal locomotion. However, it is unrealistic to have much larger fields than the current AdultSize field, therefore the league needs to move outdoor at some points.
Since moving outdoor is a major step which is likely to impact strongly all the teams, having a progressive plan with intermediate steps sounds reasonable. A significant step was taken with the drop-in challenge occurring in natural lighting at Sydney, but it still needs to be consolidated by having successful tournaments with natural lighting.
